Well, for the first time in his career, President Obama couldn’t vote PRESENT.
Now is the time to keep sending bills to the Senate and to his desk, if you can get them there, so he will have to make more decisions. The more he vetoes, the more he entrenches the Democrats as the party of NO. At some point, this will become nuclear for all Democrats, and they will either break from the leftists or lose more elections.
The solution to gridlock is not term limits. It is voting often to force politicians to take a stand on e way or another. Over time, the people can take care of the rest in elections.
They must keep voting! Unfortunately it takes strong leadership to do this, and Mr. Boehner is neither courageous nor clever enough for the task at hand.
