The National Association of African-American Owned Media alleges that Sharpton and other advocates have been bought off.
Even though the FCC hasn't yet ruled on the proposed merger between Comcast and Time Warner Cable, one group has already filed a lawsuit claiming at least $20 billion in damages from the way the two giants allegedly discriminate against black-owned media.
The complaint, filed in California on Friday, comes from the National Association of African-American Owned Media, which also filed a similar suit against AT&T and DirecTV in December.
This time, the plaintiff is not only targeting both Comcast and TWC on the verge of what would be the largest pay television distributor in the United States, but also various African-American advocacy groups and MSNBC host Al Sharpton for allegedly facilitating discrimination.

By definition is this not discriminatory organization?
Are there any “white” American owned media within this group, if not, why? And why have they not been sued for discrimination?
I would go one step further, if they actively promote one group based on just their race is that not racist. Why are they allowed to scream “racism” when they are themselves practicing it themselves.

Tyler Perry who produces artistic movies like “Diary of a Mad Black Woman.”

I’ll tell you why black media owned companies are failing and it has nothing to do Time Warner or Comcast. It’s because they produce crap for a miniscule thug urban audiance. And the rest of the crap produced by the likes of BET is nothing but bash whitey. There is only so much white guilt people are capable of harboring.
Comcast is one of the biggest companies to employ a chief diversity officer ...WTF is a chief diversity officer? I swear, the country is going to hell.
