Mika: 'I Question Patriotism of Someone Who Questions President's Patriotism'
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 02/23/2015 7:03:02 AM PST by governsleastgovernsbest

MSNBC might like to replace "Lean Forward" with a new slogan: "Dissent Is Unpatriotic."

On today's Morning Joe, discussing the Rudy flap, Mika Brzezinski said: "I question the patriotism of someone who questions the president's patriotism." Joe Scarborough retorted that for years on MSNBC, Keith Olbermann got away with saying much worse about W without criticism from Mika or others in the MSM.

who questions it?

it’s pretty obvious he does everything he can to help muslims and illegals before he even thinks about Americans

does that mean he’s not patriotic? hardly. i’m quite sure he’s a patriot.

the only question is... for which country

Maybe....but I used to work in a pulp and paper plant as an engineer and there was a bar next to the plant where all the pine logger truckers went. They didn’t care much about qualifications/connections. I’d say she’d be good lookin’ enough to be beer-goggle pretty for them. :0)

I’m sure the adults and the garment makers were mad at the boy who shouted “The King’s NAKED!”

The libs can’t let this go. Hats off to Rudy, he has caused doubt over Zippy’s patriotism to dominate the news for nitwits.

....well, yes, I was being facetious....but a logger camp strip club is pretty low on the totem pole, so to speak. Maybe she would qualify.

Well, let’s see, Mika. Was it patriotic to call up extra personnel to close war memorials and American Heritage sites? Was it patriotic to arrest vets trying to visit open air monuments honoring their service? Was it patriotic to block people from VIEWING Mt. Rushmore from public roads? Did I mention the pass given at the same time for illegals to rally on the Washington Mall at the same time said mall was off limits to U.S. Citizens? Stupid bitch.

I question the patriotism of anyone that claims I have bow down and accept everything the “President” says a gospel.

When are Republicans going to realize that logic and politeness will never sway lefties. Nothing will persuade them from their delusions. We go for the win, or we quit and let them finish off this country. No middle ground.

The words compromise and bipartisan should be eliminated from the Republican lexicon. They are merely RINO synonyms for surrender.

Depends on what your definition of “patriotism” is. If it means kneeling at the altar of Obama and pledging allegiance to who the left say is god, hell no. If you mean pledging allegiance to a country that believes in God, The Constitution and what it stands for and law and order, yes. Stop lying and trying to change definitions to fool your stupid no-brain LIV followers.

Mika was silent when Obola questioned George W. Bush’s patriotism in 2008

It was okay with liberals then.

Understood. I drove by that place on the way to weekend OOD call late one night. The loggers had some guy hauled over a pickup hood beating the hell out of him even when the blue lights were pulling up. There were even reports of chainsaw fights out in the parking lot at times. Rough bunch. I only went in the place sometimes because I was ‘protected’ as plant management.

___________

Do you have the quote, or citation. I’d love to be armed with this little morsel.

Giuliani was right, of course.

You don’t “fundamentally transform” something you love. You might make a few tweaks and adjustments, to smooth out the rough spots, but you don’t turn it into something entirely different if you love it.

Can’t wait to see where Hizzonor’s now-famous quote goes from here.

And their attempts to convince people that Rudy is a racist, who is pathetic, whose career is so over, etc etc are just not working. People feel they know Rudy and they know he isn’t those things.
