A new video from Al Shabaab purportedly shows the terror group calling for an attack on Mall of America, in Bloomington, Minn.
According to Fox 9, the mall is one of three similar targets the terror group specifically names, including West Edmonton Mall in Canada and the Oxford Street shopping area in London.
The video purportedly shows 6 minutes of graphic images and the terrorists celebrating the 2013 Westgate Mall attack in Nairobi, Kenya, that killed more than 60 people.
"We will continue to monitor events with the help of federal, state and local law enforcement agencies," Mall of America said in a statement. "As always, we take any potential threat seriously and respond appropriately. Mall of America has implemented extra security precautions, some may be noticeable to guests, and others won't be. We will continue to follow the situation, along with law enforcement, and will remain vigilant as we always do in similar situations."
Al Shabaab, Somalia's Islamic extremist rebels, claimed responsibility for a Friday attack on a hotel in Somalia's capital that killed 25 people and wounded 40, the country's government said Saturday.

This is not an existential threat, in fact it's not much of a threat at all. We have plenty of shopping malls, we'll get along with the Mall of America. Shoppers have been warned, any injured will be random casualties. All cultures are the same, and if their culture, not allowed to name it, requires that our culture adapt, we'll have to get off our high horse and adapt.
Or not. An attack like this will change the political equation, we'll be able to say Islamism, Jihadism, and Radical Islam.

This all goes back to our absolutely insane immigration laws. We are repeating the same mistakes that led to 9/11.
I responded on another thread that this is just a threat. ISIL and AQ have not been able to generate a systematic, organized attack on the US since 9-11.
Arabs are known for their outrageous bluster.
I do not disagree that we need intelligence efforts and steadfast homeland security. What we do not need is another troop on the ground in the middle east under the current chain of command. I have very little faith in anyone over the rank of Captain these days.
It would be fun to see it leveled right after they attack the nearest mall.

In other words, a known soft target .... anyone who goes there should be on notice, regardless of Mall of America’s statement.
So this is the thanks the people of Minnesota get for being involuntarily forced to accept Somali refugees. Way to go State Department.
There is only one way 0 will get outraged over this: if an attack happens during a “teen” brawl or a flash mob.
They don’t care about the violations. Law abiding citizens do. A gun free zone makes for a good target.
