Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, a prospective Republican presidential contender, said Saturday he does not know whether President Obama is a Christian

A) Walker didn't "say" anything. He responded to a question aksed of him.

B) Who aksed the question?

C)Did the person who aksed Walker if he thought Obola was a Christian also aks Obola if he thought Walker was a Christian?

D) Why is the question even necessary to aks?

He should have used Hillary’s “I cannot recall” and then the press would just move on. Just like with Hillary.

Why is the question even necessary to aks?

The same reason the media will ask Republican candidates about evolution or the age of the earth (and the same reason they won't ask Democrats about partial-birth abortion). It's a strategy to make these candidates look "extreme" to swing-voters who don't pay much attention to politics.
