He is a Muslim. He asked his victims if they were Muslim. Then he stabbed them when they say they weren’t. If this isn’t a hate crime, what is? The fact that Terrence Lavaron Thomas has not been charged with a hate crime shows yet again that hate crime laws are political tools in the hands of the powerful, used to menace the powerless groups they dislike. DETROIT, MI — Oakland County Prosecutor Jessica Cooper didn’t charge a Detroit man with a hate crime after it’s suspected he stabbed two people at a Southfield bus stop, possibly motivated by religious hate.
Nick Loussia, Deputy Chief of Police for the Southfield Police Department, said the suspect, 39-year-old Terrence Lavaron Thomas, “is Muslim, and asked the victims what religion they were” before allegedly attacking them.
He’s charged with two counts of assault with intent to murder, carrying a dangerous weapon with unlawful intent and possession of marijuana.
Oakland County Chief Assistant Prosecutor Paul Walton said the evidence doesn’t support a 2-year felony charge of ethnic intimidation, although investigators are still interviewing witnesses.
Walton said an argument started over “bad breath and bad teeth” before it “deescalated to a physical altercation.”
“At this point … I’m not hearing anything that is going to monumentally change any of the charges,” Walton said.
The FBI is looking at the case also to see if any federal hate crimes were committed.
“We’re taking all of the logical investigative steps with regards to the sorts of violations we investigate,” David Porter, spokesman for the Detroit FBI field office, said Thursday. “There is no update to provide[.]
“I’m not saying anything beyond we are investigating the matter.”
Thomas’s bail was set at $1 million cash or surety bond.
According to police, Thomas attacked the victims, a 52-year-old man and 51-year-old man from Detroit, after he “made several comments about his religion and asked the victims about their religious beliefs just before the assault occurred.”
When police arrived to the scene Saturday night, they found that the 52-year-old victim had been stabbed in the head, neck and back. The 51-year-old victim had been stabbed in the hand….

The muzzies and the leftists are screaming about the Chapel Hill murders and how it’s a media cover-up of a “hate crime”.
Geeze - All crimes are “hate” crimes or “rage” crimes, or gimmedat crimes. The Chapel Hill murderer was a nutcase, and there’s evidence of an ongoing dispute between him and the victims over a parking space where they lived. But the media, the bleeding heart libs, and the muslims are IGNORING THE FACTS and jumping on the bandwagon to call it “hate” (egged on by Obama and his “violent Christian crusades” speech; or even saying the murder should be considered terrorism. If the perp wasn’t a white man, the whole thing would probably be treated as a (yawn) non-event.

It’s all hate when some SOB Muslim stabs a non-Muslim in a state and a city where the victim was born and raised! There’s no question about it any longer: the death penalty must be expanded to cover the multitude of crimes where we know the perp is unredeemable.
The penalty must be administered quickly. The review of a properly constituted court should be speedy and only once. From being charged to being hanged should take but ten days.
America must begin emulating Singapore. If that happened the drug problem would disappear within weeks. There, if one is apprehended selling drugs the penalty is immediate death. If a nitwit is buying drugs he gets one chance to get clean. If he’s caught the second time he gets the death sentence.
They are the Whites that go about living from day to day. Working, paying their taxes and not bothering anyone. Then there are the politically correct self hating Whites who hate and are ashamed that they happen to be White. This is a phenom present only in the Caucasian race.
