Obama dares Rand Paul to show up on the South Side of Chicago now - as he mocks GOP contender's claim that Republicans are 'the party of jobs and opportunity'
As President Barack Obama hit out at Republicans who have criticized his economic policies, he singled out Republican Senator Rand Paul - who previously said income inequality has worsened under Obama's administration.
During the Democratic National Committee's winter meeting today, Obama remarked on Paul's 2013 comment that the Republican party needs to show up on the South Side of Chicago and shout: 'We are the party of jobs and opportunity'.
The president said, while smiling, it is 'encouraging' that the 2016 presidential hopeful wants to go to his hometown and that Paul would be welcomed there, adding 'we are a friendly bunch'.

I cannot imagine comrade obama going anywhere now without the secret service and unlimited taxpayer funds for protection money.
Obama has NEVER went to the 'hood during his Presidency.
When was the last time he addressed the black underclass' concerns? (Which are problems created by and exacerbated by leftists)

Rand Paul should easily be able to hit this out of the park.

This is racial intimidation, plain and simple. It is divisive hate speech. He’s saying “show your face in a black neighborhood and see what happens to you , white boy.”

I’ll never forget Pelosis daughter doing a documentary on welfare recipients standing in line to get their Obama money. She asked some healthy young black men it they thought about calling the number on the sign behind them offering job opportunities.
One said, “I don’t want a job...I want a career”
Rand Paul should go to Chicago’s South Side and hold a community meeting where he can ask if the residents are doing well under the Democrats rule. He should ask them about unemployment, jobs, schools and if the taxes they are paying are making their community better.
Obama may have stepped in it big time with this comment.

What, is he going to have him shot? That would be the Marx way of contending with an opponent.
Rand Paul should do exactly that, it would be a brilliant counter.
Look around the country where Democrats have run big cities for decades and they all have the same intractable problems. For the ones not there yet, Detroit is your future.

Why would the candidate of jobs go to the neighbor of welfare?
I wonder what would happen if Rand Paul told Obama to show up in the coal mining towns of eastern Kentucky and West Virginia and shout “The Democrat party is the party of opportunity?”
