WASHINGTON – The United States has laid out a battle plan to retake the Iraqi city of Mosul in an April-to-May time frame, using some 20,000 to 25,000 Iraqi troops who currently are being trained, a highly unusual disclosure that one intelligence source told WND is “pure lunacy.”

Obama hopes by telling ISIS what’s going to happen they’ll , RUN AWAY ,RUN AWAY
Hoping that the threat would cower ISIS?
Was it a tip-off or a trial balloon? You can’t prep an invasion force of that size without the word getting out, anyway.
Although, why such a trial balloon was floated is beyond me. Maybe it’s just so Obama can sound like he’s planning something for this week’s news cycle. In other words, it’s for us.
Or maybe it’s misdirection, and he’ll try to arm and train the wrong people. With Obama, you just don’t know, but you know it will not be likely to be in the US interest.
ISIS believes they are living in the end times and that they are entering into The Last Battle that will reveal their messiah.
Read their propaganda.
They will gladly rush to be slaughtered, in the firm belief that they are fulfilling Allah's final plan for the universe.
Let’s see, we are training the same guys who surrendered Mosul to ISIS to retake Mosul from the guys that whupped them.

I think the easiest way to combat ISIS would be tp have Iraq request our presence back under the following conditions:
1. A parcel of land 50 square miles with Al-Asad Air Base as the center.
2. 25k - 30k US troops (Marines/Army/Air Force/Navy)
3. 10K - 15K Other Troops
4. Expand the air base to include a full line of fighter, Attack, gun ships, Appache, Cobra, A-10s etc and room for a couple Brigade Combat Teams.
5. “Other Troops” are responsible for a 10 mile perimeter around the air base.
6. Anyone in or out of the US zone.. stripped naked before they’re allowed in.
7. Rules of Engagement: If it’s armed kill it.
8. Capture anyone you can and water board the piss out of em or whatever else is needed.
After several roving patrols, things would calm down pretty quick
