Priest’s heart stops. He has hallucinations and/or dreams.
Nothing he might have “experienced” is the tiniest bit meaningful or of the slightest interest.
That he ran to the press with this nonsense is to his discredit.
He obviously doesn’t know the Bible!
lol
George Carlin (yeah, I know) said that God must be a man because no woman would mess things up this bad.
As I said elsewhere, Jesus is God, and he is definitely a male!
I thought Satan was a Kenyan President.
He felt an unconditional love
that reminded him of his mother’s love.
So what?
LOL, it's one thing to preach doctrine about God - it's another thing to have a personal experience! That's not allowed! And do you know why? Because if the infinite, eternal, vast, immortal Creator of the entire universe were to appear in a way that clerics haven't predicted or authorized, well, that's just impossible. There are no errors or limitations in the faith, there are no new teachings from God, and anyone with the audacity to actually speak about an experience they received through the infinite power, knowledge and love from God's actual presence that doesn't correspond with clerical approval is either a liar, insane, or both.
And you know, it's all really so unnecessary. If God would just file an Intention To Make An Appearance so that it can be reviewed and approved by the Appearance Review Board for each faith, these things could proceed without any frivolous misunderstandings by the Great Unwashed.
There’s no need to debate it ... it’s super-clear that Jesus is a male! And we know that Jesus is the CREATOR, too!
Again, in the Christian religion, you have to utilize the vocabulary and concepts presented plainly. Adam was created in God’s image; Jesus said that if you have seen Him, you have seen the Father. Jesus was resurrected with his same male body. You have to assume that when a person is resurrected, they will inhabit a like body.
If his God can’t keep scriptures accurate, his God is way too small.
Question: “What does it mean to be absent from the body?”
Answer: The phrase absent from the body is found in 2 Corinthians 5:6-8. Paul states that he is confident in his eternal destiny and longs for the day when he can be absent from the body and be present with the Lord he loves and serves. To be absent from ones body simply means to die because, at death, the spirit is separated from the body and moves into its eternal abodeeither heaven with the Lord or hell, separated from God for eternity.
In the same way, Christians are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the presence of God. For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. When a born-again believer dies, his soul goes immediately into the presence of the Lord. There, the soul consciously awaits the resurrection of the body. To the church at Philippi Paul wrote from a Roman prison:
For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall choose I cannot tell. For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. Nevertheless to remain in the flesh is more needful for you (Philippians 1:21-24).
Pauls desire in life was to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. If he lived, he could continue to labor for the Lord. If he faced execution, he would depart this life and be with Christ. He desired to be with his Savior, but if he remained on earth, he could continue to minister to others.
There are some who believe in soul sleep, meaning that when a person dies, his body and soul sleep in the grave, awaiting the resurrection. But if this were true, why would Paul not want to live to minister as long as possible, rather than sleep in a grave? And if it were true that the body and soul are never separated, it would be impossible to ever be absent from the body and present with the Lord.
We conclude, then, that believers who die are indeed absent from their physical bodies and present with the Lord in conscious bliss waiting that grand resurrection day!

One could offer the argument that it's equally bizarre to assume that God is a man.........
Nobody I know in life or scripture has actually met the guy/gal that is still alive to verify what he saw........have you?
Here's a thought, maybe God represents all of mankind and is actually bigender. After all, he made mankind in his own image and mankind consists of both men and women.....LOL!
I doubt God has a gender or age.
Jesus has always had a gender ... and it’s male! AND it’s not hard to understand as Jesus is the CREATOR GOD of the Bible!
It’s God the FATHER....what an idiot priest. You are not a Catholic, I assume.
We die into our expectations. All NDE reports give insight, but the insight is into the person reporting them as much as what they report.
Disgusting. You are an anti-Catholic, I see.
Sure God has a gender. We’re told in the Bible that our CREATOR GOD is (very specifically) a male!
There’s no question about it.
