Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz calls out Giuliani for 'offensive' Obama comments

The Starbucks (SBUX) CEO called out former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani for questioning President Obama's "love" for his country.

"As an American, I find Rudy Giuliani's vicious comments about President Obama 'not loving America' to be profoundly offensive to both the President and the Office," Schultz said in a statement.

Giuliani caused a political stir this week with his remarks about Obama at a dinner event featuring Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, in a speech first reported by Politico. He said he didn't believe Obama "loves America."

There coffee is not overly strong, it is overly bitter, they use too little beans, and push too much water through them cause they are cheap. More beans, less water and the bitter goes away and the flavor explodes!

It all started in the early 1900s, on the north edge of Baton Rouge. With the help of his family, Cap Saurage opened a country store to sell coffee and other groceries to his neighbors. The stage was set for a story that would grow over the next century. It was the story of family serving neighbors.

Because Cap was working alongside his family, and because he was serving his neighbors, he knew his coffee had to be the best-tasting, highest quality coffee possible. By 1919, Cap had discovered a secret blend that was richer, bolder and smoother than any coffee around. He named his popular coffee “Community Coffee” to honor his friends and neighbors. It was a coffee for his community.

The coffee I drink is determined by where I am when it’s coffee time and I’m never at starbucks.

...”Does this clown really believe anyone cares what he thinks?”...

He will never consider that he is not a genius on everything until people stop going to Starbuck’s. I do not go there because I like the coffee I make at home better. He has succeeded in making people feel they are the “upper crust” if they drink Starbuck’s. It is kind of like those folks who spend every dime they have on a Cadillac so that when they go on vacation, folks will think they are rich. True Americans think for themselves and are not impressed by these self-appointed gurus.

Obama loves America?

Obama "loves" America the way an abusive husband loves a battered wife.

I notice a lot of customers just love to show off their Apple Macbooks while hanging out at Starbucks.

Just buy bulk Browned Coffee Beans, put them in oven, over toast them and then grind.

That is the Starbucks secret.

Obama has said many things about not liking this country including “Fundamental transformation”. You don’t fundamentally transform something you like.

A few years ago my wife received a Starbucks gift card. I had never tried Starbucks so one day we went for a nice ride and stopped at a Starbucks. I told the young lady behind the counter to give me a medium cup of regular coffee with no type of flavors added. I could only drink have of the cup and dumped the rest. Tasted like the bottom of the pot burnt crap. On the other hand my daughter loves Starbucks.

Starbucks is a cheap copy of Israeli style coffee shops. Only in Israel, the coffee is rich, and they bake the pastry in the shop. Their chocolate crossant is a crossant with a milk chocolate bar baked inside hot out of the oven.

Starbucks tried to open in Tel Aviv, but failed. Poor coffee and reheated rolls did not cut it there.

Right. Starbucks is now off my list.

Should have been off your list when they went all wobbly on gun rights.

OK. Who rattled the monkey cage at Starbucks? If you’re gonna do that, you gotta throw an orange in the cage or they start flinging their crap.

Simple!

They’re mostly lefties that know that Starpuke sends a sizable portion of their profits to Planned Barrenhood, Rainbow Coalition, Barack Obama, and every other Anti-American cause there is.
