Scott Walker’s cowardice should disqualify him [angry they can't box him in]
The Washington Post ^ | February 20, 2015 | Dana Milbank

Posted on 02/20/2015 6:48:52 AM PST by Cincinatus' Wife

What Rudy Giuliani did this week was stupid.

What Scott Walker did ought to disqualify him as a serious presidential contender......

And Walker, just a few seats away, said . . . nothing. Asked the next morning on CNBC about Giuliani’s words, the presidential aspirant was spineless: “The mayor can speak for himself. I’m not going to comment on what the President thinks or not. He can speak for himself as well. I’ll tell you, I love America. There are plenty of people, Democrat, Republican, independent, and in between who love this country.”

But did he agree with Giuliani? “I’m in New York,” Walker demurred. “I’m used to people saying things that are aggressive out there.”...

I would add that it appears Governor Walker was paying more attention during the political science classes he took while in college than our President paid to his constitutional law classes on his way to getting his degrees.

Next time they ask him about Giuliani’s remarks, he should just say, “Now, that would be like you asking President Obama to be accountable for what one of his staffers said about PM Netanyahu”. LOL!

Like when Obama publicly repudiated Bill Ayers right?

Screw these newspaper scribblers. Their time is over. Done. They don’t get to define who is worthy of federal office.

They refuse to bring any semblance of objectivity or true journalistic standards to political discussions.

So they can cram it.

As if Milbank would support Walker for president if Walker criticized Rudy. Right now Giuliani is Emmanuel Goldstein as all the libs gather to shout hate words at his picture on a large screen.

Milbank, like most liberals, will tell us who the candidate is he most fears will have the greatest appeal to succeed.

Thank you, Dana. Now we know whom to support.

Todd Akin did just that, and lost a race that was winnable. This is politics, not evangelism.

Todd Akin was shot down by Rove. Todd Akin had the audacity to defeat Rove’s favorite in the primary. One instant of inarticulateness and Rove goes on nationwide TV and announces he will no longer support Akin. Rove, for all intents and purposes, endorsed McCaskill. Up until that point (Rove’s endorsement of McCaskill) Todd Akin was leading in the polls.

The GOPe will seek to sabotage genuine conservatives every chance they can. Democrats on the other hand always stand by their own.

Gotta love it, the Journolist going full throttle against Walker.

He sure has the right enemies.

I live here, I saw what happened. Akin should have never talked to Jaco.

Is Milbank seriously suggesting that Obama does love America?

Nobody could be so stupid as to believe that!
