I am apprehensive of ISIL/ISIS/IS ‘capturing’ that base they have surrounded in Iraq that has between 300 and 400 US military. Imagine the propaganda ISIL/ISIS/IS could make from them, especially considering the likely response or lack thereof from the current Administration in DC.
We still have reverberations from the Carter Middle East foreign policy, and he only had one presidential term to create that mess. Obama will have had 2 terms, so repercussions from Obama Middle East foreign policy is exponentially worse.
