I took an African American lit class where we actually studied Shelby Steele as some sort of freak. What causes a Black man to be conservative? That was the gist of the course.
Interestingly, the prof seemed like an ok guy and offered to write a recommendation for me. It turned out to be a slam. Worst letter of rec in history. Liberals are snakes.

any of it, the goal is “overreaching public policies and programs” to overburden the government in the hopes of it

none. When they act that way they force it out like flatulence. The most damning trait of a liberal is their
lack of guilt and shame. That’s the way fascists are.
Either Mr. Williams is just being nice or he lost track of
what liberals really are.
Liberalism undermines the spirit of self-help and individual responsibility. For liberals in academia, the fact that black college students earn lower grades and have a higher dropout rate than any group besides reservation Indians means that blacks remain stymied and victimized by white racism.

So very true. George W. Bush was absolutely spot on about liberals ... the soft bigotry of low expectations ...
Steele's right on this... but white liberals also benefit from a dependent black class - a class that can be used as a club to beat other whites. The 'guilt' of the white liberal elite is a power play... not much else.
Who cares? ‘Racism’ is largely a BS term that infers there are no racial differences. It is used as some sort of abattering ram and is an outright lie that leads to way more problems than admitting the differences that exist.
