Got it? It makes it seem like Muslims were the *victims* in the incident. That was a bit too transparent, and many objected, leading to the current headline. Which is still not accurate. There was no “religious discussion”, simply the question “are you Muslim?” After which non-Muslims got stabbed.
The WP, disgraceful as usual.
