Many that will be losing it weren’t paying for it anyways
CNN reports that 53% of Jackson Hewitt clients who received subsidies have to repay part or all of it, with the largest being $12,000.
This fiasco called “Obamacare” was providing either minimal coverage, or in some instances, no coverage at all, due to only a limited menu of covered procedures, and compulsory coverage of many other procedures or drugs that were of no use to large parts of the population that was supposedly being “given” this benefit, or the co-pays were so high that effectively all the health care was being paid out of pocket.
Whatever was the pretext under which this law was passed, has almost completely disappeared, like the snow in the spring rains, and we are hit with the deluge.
That's right; the national taxpayers are.
But soon the taxpayers of the specific state that sets up a state exchange, will pay the monumental tab forever, all by themselves, after 2015, If I remember right.
They were likely paying a portion of it - and only because they did so under duress of the law.
And then there are those paying the Shared Responsibility Payment for not having coverage.
I wonder - when OCare finally collapses - will any of this wasted money be credited back to people who were forced to comply with a terrible law?
