This stuff is so pathetic. Although recently I have been critical of Governor Walker in threads on the Wisconsin state board for his agenda at the state level this term, I will say in his defense that illegal immigration hasn’t been as big of an issue here in Wisconsin as it has been elsewhere. We haven’t yet seen the same problems the southern states are experiencing. There are relatively few Hispanic people in general and I don’t believe that I have ever spoken with anyone who wasn’t here legally. As Scott Walker takes to the national stage, I would expect his position on the issue to evolve and become more defined.

However, the good news in these sad attempts to discredit Scott Walker is how laughably weak these attacks are. Scott Walker is the most fully vetted candidate in recent memory. This is the best his opponents have got because it is all there is.

You're defending the indefensible. Walker, as an American citizen, should already have adopted a principled stand against illegal immigration and amnesty.

Just because illegals aren't as great a problem in Wisconsin as in other states, doesn't grant him a pass on this issue. It's important to the very existence of the nation.

Did you read the rest, that he was still supporting Amnesty (and still does IMO) as little as two years ago!

Not to mention that he’s weak on marriage and right to work.

Did Scott Walker flip-flop on a immigration and a pathway to citizenship?

Wisconsin has many illegals, of course not like the southern border states but still a problem. In northern Wisconsin where I live they are here working the fields. Of course southside Milwaukee has always been Hispanic but now you can drive for a distance before seeing any signs in English. I wouldn’t recommend driving there to visit. It seems like a lot of the crimes are driving drunk resulting in homicide. Most of the shootings and stabbings has been Hispanic on Hispanic. We don’t have the home invasions yet. I can send you links if you want. I also think the nightly news has stopped mentioning the fact that the offenders are here illegal.

Living in Ozaukee County you probably don’t see many illegals but if you venture to Washington, FonDuLac, Milwaukee, Racine, Kenosha or any other county I’m sure you would here of plenty. Even Madison. What does Walker say about this.

I hear there is going to be a devastating piece, based on testimony from Walker’s kindergarten teacher, any day now...
