Around here it seems to be spelled and pronounced bat mitzvah not bas mitzvah. Been to enough of them to be pretty sure about it.
Seems theres some variation.

The guard needed to be armed against Allah's demons on earth. It looks like he wasn't. The Muzzies are crazy but for Dan Uzan not to be unarmed is just as crazy and derelict.
Jewish victim as Dan Uzan, 37, whose father is Israeli and mother is Danish. He was a volunteer guard at the shul.
