America’s morality evolves constantly — and the rapid acceptance of same-sex marriage is a stunning example.
Only a few years ago, the notion seemed unthinkable. During the 2008 presidential campaign, all candidates opposed it. Democrat Barack Obama declared then: “I am not in favor of gay marriage.”
The 2012 Republican national platform called homosexual wedlock “an assault on the foundations of our society,” and demanded a constitutional amendment to outlaw it.
However, morality turned upside-down swiftly. The tide for marriage equality rolled like a tsunami. Alabama just became the 37th state to legalize it. West Virginia stands among “yes” states. There’s little doubt that all 50 states eventually will be unanimous. A Washington Post commentary said “evolution has occurred at warp speed.”
Mostly in Deep Dixie, conservatives are trying to halt the tsunami. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, said the U.S. Supreme Court’s refusal so far to block the tide is “tragic and indefensible.” Some Republican Texas legislators are drafting bills to deny pay to any county clerk who issues a same-sex marriage license — and to let business owners follow their “sincerely held religious beliefs” to eject gays.
A South Carolina minister led a protest outside the state capitol, declaring that gay wedlock comes “from the devil’s hell.” Alabama Baptist leaders voiced “moral outrage, intense grief” over gay weddings and called for Alabamans to pray “in support of biblical marriage.”
(The Bible says, without disapproval, that King Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines and “loved many strange women.” We assume the protesters aren’t referring to this sort of biblical marriage.)
Americans are watching a speedy moral transformation occur. Someday, we predict, people will look back and wonder why such a fuss was raised.

It is no surprise that the Left and their editorialists celebrate the evolving, neo pagan decadent culture that America has entered. It has always been their goal.

And they are propagandizing children in the schools, even here in Alabama, with all manner of perversions and “calling evil good”.
It is STILL unthinkable. Rammed down our throats by black robed tyrants who rejected the will of the free citizens of many states who rejected it at the ballot box. Tyranny!
But he was, and his supporters all knew it. They know their candidates lie when they have to and they are OK with it.
There isn't a single Democrat politician willing to speak against homosexual marriage except, previously, at election time. But any Democrat who seriously opposes it, and the party believes he means it, is drummed out of the party just like that.

No it hasn’t.
Corrupt judges have dictated that the laws are to changed to their liking, and sadly not enough people are outraged.
Then the Left will come up with their next agenda, perhaps polygamy, and people will be likely to move on and forget about gay marriage.
That’s how the Left has operated for decades.
Queer “marriage” is like playing dressup in your mother’s high heels. It is make-believe on steroids.
Just as surely as the tide is and will continue to turn against abortion, so will the tide turn in the queer “marriage” debate.
What cannot work will not work.
since the voters overwhelming approved the traditional definition of marriage, there is no changing morality.

Note also that Romans 1:32 points out that those who approve of such conduct are just as guilty as those who engage in it.
They will be in for a very rude awakening one day.
