0 can invite the dregs of the world to invade America, but don't even try to bring a CAR in here without greasing all the palms or they'll sic the JBT's on your ass! They just love low-hanging fruit that won't shoot back...

AND they will wait for the car to arrive, confiscate it, and crush it.

Why would anyone want to smuggle a Datsun?
To: W.
That’s because cars don’t vote...yet.

Illegal aliens don't face the kind of punishment a guy does for smuggling a Japan Domestic Market car into this country. Don't hold your breath waiting for El Jefe Jeb to declare it an "act of love."

Collector’s item/drift car/? The RX-7’s and 280Z cars I drove as a dealership mechanic back in the early 80’s were, well—spirited, to say the least...

Well like Ann Coulter said, the worst thing you can do is come between a liberal and taxes. He snuck the car into the country thereby bypassing taxes on the car so naturally this guy deserves the same punishment of what a murderer would get. Same with Eric Garner: He sold one untaxed cigarette and they gave him the death penalty.
NEVER come between a liberal and taxes!

They just love low-hanging fruit that won't shoot back...Amen to that, invite 5 million in, give them 3 year look back on EITC amended taxes and a loophole to vote, but G_d forbid you think freedom is having fun with some vehicle that burns gasoline like this "Grey Market" Nissan.
This is about cultural change, i.e. changing the car culture by making it so political so you Don't even think of importing this kind of car, and we are here and we will smite you. Better yet no car culture at all...
Is it about "power"? Sure feels it don't it...
BTW, when do they start busting kit-car builders and Hot Rodders cohones. They didn't do the Homebuilt Aircraft people any favors a few years ago changing the "51%" rule...
Honest to G-d these Statist have taken all the fun out of life, they wouldn't know what fun is ( especially hooning a muscle car ) if it bit them in the ***...

Hell, the Statists’ idea of a good time is to suck all the fun out of anything they don’t have the talent, money or balls to do themselves. They live to create misery for anyone they perceive enjoying something they can’t.

For those who wondered "what the heck is a Nissan Silvia" this seems to be representative:
Nice enough but not worth 20 years and $250K...

Hey.....
I worked the SCCA track at Danville back in the early 60’s. The Datusun’s came and conquered.
They ate up the TR’s and MG’s and Healys. The Corvettes out ran them on the straight aways but to stay on the track, slowed mightily in the corners through which the Datsun’s could fly.
The only thing the Datsun feared was the Shelby
Bigots called them rice burners but they could take on all comers
