AND they will wait for the car to arrive, confiscate it, and crush it.
Why would anyone want to smuggle a Datsun?
That’s because cars don’t vote...yet.
Hey, it’s not an illegal immigrant but a new subject to be loved.
Is the car legal in Mexico?
Well like Ann Coulter said, the worst thing you can do is come between a liberal and taxes. He snuck the car into the country thereby bypassing taxes on the car so naturally this guy deserves the same punishment of what a murderer would get. Same with Eric Garner: He sold one untaxed cigarette and they gave him the death penalty.
NEVER come between a liberal and taxes!
Amen to that, invite 5 million in, give them 3 year look back on EITC amended taxes and a loophole to vote, but G_d forbid you think freedom is having fun with some vehicle that burns gasoline like this "Grey Market" Nissan.
This is about cultural change, i.e. changing the car culture by making it so political so you Don't even think of importing this kind of car, and we are here and we will smite you. Better yet no car culture at all...
Is it about "power"? Sure feels it don't it...
BTW, when do they start busting kit-car builders and Hot Rodders cohones. They didn't do the Homebuilt Aircraft people any favors a few years ago changing the "51%" rule...
Honest to G-d these Statist have taken all the fun out of life, they wouldn't know what fun is ( especially hooning a muscle car ) if it bit them in the ***...
He should have said it was a mexican
Nice enough but not worth 20 years and $250K...
Bummer. I want to smuggle in a Subaru diesel.
Why isn’t the car covered under Obama’s Amnesty? It’s here Illegally right, it was brought here through no fault of it’s own, The Owner was just trying to provide a better life for it.
My favorite vehicle is the Toyota HiLux. Our overseers have decided we can’t have this vehicle. I feel better knowing they are looking out for me. And heaven forbid we can buy the German made diesels that get 50 miles to the gallon and can still do 150 on the autobahn no problem.

Seems there was more to the case than just trying to sneak a car into the country.
This isn’t a crime this is government overreach
If I was going to smuggle something, it would be worth more than $5k.
