YHWH, the Creator and Sovereign Lord, utterly destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. Does America think we will escape His judgement?
Two things need to be kept in mind about Sodom & Gomorrah:
(1) The Abrahamic bargain. How many righteous are left? It had gotten down to only evil (today we would say unsaved).
(2) A very peculiar observation of Jesus, that if the miracles that Israel ignored had been done in Sodom and Gomorrah they would... yes, have repented. I didn’t put that in the bible, it’s already there.
A gospel offensive is the only thing that makes sense... really it is the only thing that ever made sense ever, but sometimes it takes a situation like this to force awareness of the necessity upon us.
