A friend of my dad was a very successful self employed automotive genuis, brilliant heavy equipment mechanic who took a job as a crane lead problem solver technician. He is called when the engineers and designers can’t fix problems on high end construction cranes. Writes his own ticket. One of the most easy going and laid back country boys you could ever meet. No college degree.

I would have to say that Dean has been educated beyond his intelligence.
I used to jump off the roof, potato cannons, dragon breath, and accidentally started a fire, before putting it out, good news is, the building was empty and no one was hurt, and it didn’t spread much. However, when I was over 21, I had enough sense in my head to think about the future and the consequences of stupidity.
IMHO, his intelligence has atrophied from a lack of exertion.
Only about 40 percent of the entire population at voting age actually votes, so you likely are making an accurate statement with the 80 percent. If it isn’t close, I have no idea what is.

Interesting fact about Andrew Johnson, he started as a tailor’s apprentice which eventually lead to him owning a string of what we would today call men’s stores. He was also a very successful real estate guy.
