NASA scientists used tree rings to understand past droughts and climate models incorporating soil moisture data to estimate future drought risk in the 21st century.

What part of the word “ D E S E R T “ do these wackos not understand???
the west is generally dry.....it doesn’t matter except they keep trying to make a dry area flush with orchards, farms, spas, golf courses.
They knew this hundreds of years ago...
The whole south western US is that way, has been for hundreds of thousands of years.
So why is this news, and why is the National Aeronautics and Space Administration putting out this crap.
I thought their job was SPACE.
Damn; I hope so, I need the water on my farm.
Unfortunately, no climate model to date, developed by NASA or anyone else has been worth a bucketful of rat poop.
Why they keep trying to pretend that models are worth anything long term baffles normal people no end.
And yes, global warming is real, and has existed forever.
Anthropogenic?
Never even close to having been proved scientifically and conclusively. Certainly not based on the CO2 stupidity.
That's not as relevant as the destruction of hundreds of dams where they helped the most, built with foresight over the previous 100 years, Merely to satisfy the ignorant, dope-infested 'Bugs and Bunny' crowd.
But the sardines and snails were happy until everything dried up, only sooner than otherwise, and surprise! They are all now dying anyway.
And agriculture, and the well-being of millions is increasingly at risk.
Stupidity is open ended, and aside from normal weather changes is among the most abundant things in the universe.
No money or power in that.

Funny thing is when they talk about dam removal they never mention the “Carbon Footprint”. I wonder why that is?
The guess is that March and April will be wet in So Cal.
During the last glacial advance Death Valley was a 600’ deep glacier fed lake.
droughts predicted for desert?? no way!
For that matter, for most of the last few million years, a mile of ice over Chicago was the norm.
At the moment, however, Mo’ Nature seems to be more focused on the Boston area...
