So many bad guys were found shot in the head that the suspicion was that they were all being summarily executed. The truth was that USMC marksmanship is so good that they were being picked off at crazy distances when the looked around a corner, over a wall, out a window, etc.
Another glorious chapter in the history of the USMC.
As Chesty Puller stated when informed his unit of Marines (in the process of withdrawing from the Chosen Reservoir/ Korean War) was surrounded ‘Excellent ... that makes tactics much simpler!’ Probably in much saltier language ... but you get the drift.

All air assets converge and hammer the area around the base. eff any collateral damage.
Assuming that any of this “story” is true, think about what the Marines and their Iraqi troops will do, based on past military tactics.
They will find a good area to fortify or that is already fortified with 360 degree fields of fire. I assume that our Marines and some Iraqis have not only the standard M-16s (many over/under grenade launchers) and hand grenades, but also 82 MM mortars and/or larger, possibly 105’s, and various types of machine guns both American (my son had an M249 SAW in his Iraqi action), and Soviet Bloc.
Maybe even a few LAWS and AT-4’s anti-tank weapons.
By forming the proverbial defense square, they then let our air power really start limited carpet bombing on buildings or enemy military positions outside of that square.
Image a combined attack force of A10’s coming in a ground level, plowing through enemy fortifications and defensive positions like a hot 20mm/rocket knife through butter.
Then add in the fighter-bombers with laser guided missiles (F16’s, F 18’s, F22s, F35s, Apache choppers, etc).
Then for the serious shit, the B-1 or even the B-2. They carry one helluva a load like the old F-4’s did (pure hell from the air).
ISIS fighters would be decimated esp. since our men on the ground will be in direct communication with the air support and providing laser-fixing on targets.
In the end, most of the ISIS forces would be wiped out and then mopped up by A-10s catching those trying to escape.
Our military leaders in Iraq and Centcom will not let our men be taken. This isn’t Obama’s cowardice at Benghasi and the major cowardice of JCS leader Gen. Dempsey and his toadies, or even the cowardly Secretaries of the AF, Army, and Navy (Marine leadership is wavering but it is their men whose lives which are at stake. They may finally get their balls back and act like Marines, not Obama asskissers).
If Obama tries to stop a major counterattack, you could see a military revolt that literally would put Obama under house arrest for treason. I pray that it would happen.
All of Obama’s military and intell advisors should be arrested for dereliction of duty up to treason and cowardice, including his NSC groupies. The same for Kerry and his State Department eunuchs and surrender monkeys.
We tried to warn the country about the real, self-first egomaniac known as John Kerry when we wrote the book “Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry”, 2004. I was one of the researchers for the book and we knew that Kerry would sacrifice anyone, even members of his crew, for is own aggrandizement and a way out of Nam.
Today, he is still running from the enemy or aiding the enemy by attacking our few remaining allies and trying to deny them help (Israel, Ukraine, Colombia, Honduras, Taiwan).
If the Ramadi story is true, then this is our Bastogne but the “bastards” are not the enemy on the ground, they are America’s domestic enemies in the White House, JCS, Secs of the Military agencies, and the lilly-livered Democrat cowards in the Congress.
We buried my father-in-law today at Arlington Cemetery, a retired Lt. Col. who could have been a Brigadier General if he wanted to stay in after over 20 some years, including the Pacific Campaigns of Iwo Jima and Okinawa, and three Purple Hearts.
He was also a Cold War hero whose name will never appear in any history book for many years due to the nature of his counter-intelligence work (with great results) against the Soviet Union/Eastern Europe.
He never retreated, never gave in, never betrayed his country.
My son, a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, received the burial American flag.
They understood what they fought for and are/were so disappointed and betrayed by what we have for our leaders today.
We cannot let our servicemen down. Politicians be damned to hell, or jail, whichever comes first, with Obama perp-walked for his treason and cowardice before the graves at Arlington Cemetery.
