ISIS fighters seized most of Ramadi – where 300 US Marines are stationed training Iraqi Forces.
Al-Asad base is near the city – where 300 Marines are stationed.
The US Marines at Al-Asad airbase has been under frequent attack since January.
But today ISIS seized large swaths of the city.

The Americans are back in Ain al-Asad, and three of their army medics tried to save Brig Radad.
Their primary role is training tribal fighters. They are in a private corner of the camp - largely unseen. But their presence is viewed as essential.
Qais, the Al Bu Nimr fighter, said: “We know that Ain al-Asad will never fall while the Americans are here. They won’t let it happen.”

300 Marines? Backs against the wall? No chance they would EVER surrender to ISIS? The air base is fortified and well supplied. Let them try. 10,000 Isis fighter will be slaughtered. Let them surround the Marines and American air power will vaporize the area outside of the airbase.
