if Ashton Carter is a true patriot he will immediately begin to contest the influences of Jarrett and Rice and openly advise Obama in the right path forward . He will hold nothing back . Being Obama’s own pick and at such a crucial time , he might stand a chance of overthrowing the evil advisory cabal that influences his every move . Obama would dare not fire him ,right out of the gate .

Problem is when was the last time any Obama cabinet or judicial appointee was rejected? I can’t remember any.

My son and his wife (and baby) have moved to Idaho. She’s a native, he’s from Washington state, as are the rest of us. We’re giving a “sell-up and move over there” some serious consideration. I like the country and the conservatism.
Carter’s most important duty will be to run interference for Rice, who will be calling the shots instead of the military, based on political perogatives, not strategic ones.
Its Vietnam II folks. I pity any poor grunt serving in a combat role right now! Its will be a travesty to send good men and women into what is sure to become an Obama restricted ROE, cannon fodder, meat grinder.SHAME!
Why approve of him at all? How much military service did Carter see?
I kid you not, I was tired when I saw the headline, yes I heard of the actual guy Aston Carter, but for a second I honestly thought it read.....
