I respect the Governor’s accomplishments and hold nothing against him about not finishing. OTOH, I told people for years that the college degree was merely the piece of paper that keeps the door from closing on you. It’s the price of admission and consideration for many jobs. It only proves that you could persevere to achieve a particular result. It is no guarantee of either success or smarts.

I understand that a lot of the Occupy wallstreet trash had degrees, proudly hung above their parents basement above the couch they are sleeping on. Degrees they still owe a lot of $ on because there aren't a lot of good paying jobs in the fields of sociology, gender, race, or queer studies.

What’s going on here? All of a sudden its big news that Walker didn’t finish college. And now many liberals are weighing in with disdain at him not having finished college.

So did they hand out talking points that liberals need to belittle those who didnt go to college or finish college?

Do they realize that a big majority of Americans never graduated from college?

I wonder how this talking point will fly with people.

If this is such a major issue why was this not brought up in his campaigns for governor?

I think Americans have to seriously look at electing a President who wants to build a better America for the embattled American middle class, not a President who want’s to build a “better utopia” America on the backs of the American middle class.
