This is sooooo true. When I get together with my old friends, the ones who smoked pot every day in high school and college have ZERO memory. And not just of those times. Their memories just suck.

And there was a study out today that young people with mania mostly had their first incidence of mania right after smoking pot.

The laws could be changed to treat marijuana usage as a misdemeanor, with a small fine (say, max $300-$500) and no jail time.

I only knew one person, that I'm aware of, who was a pot head. But my landlord said if it weren't for pot he'd be a raving lunatic! Pretty wired most of the time but still had a compulsion to get into brawls. He's moved now but an interesting character the few times we had conversations..
