Yep. It was supposed to get us to single payer, but the experience has been so negative that many want the government to just get the he!! out of it.

Just one company (United Healthcare) spent 10 million promoting Obamacare. Now people wake up, WAY too late.

” Yep. It was supposed to get us to single payer, “

That was the plan. It will happen, because the crony capitalists want to shift the cost of health care to the American people.Corporate America has spoken. The GOPe have their marching orders. They will do nothing.

No such thing as a crony capitalist. They are mutually exclusive. Now, you CAN have Crony Socialism and Crony Fascism. We have a little of both of those. But they heave displaced capitalism.

It gets even worse. We are seeing insurance companies increasingly avoiding high risk patients. Because of various government incentive schemes such as paying for “good outcomes”, providers will also cherry pick patents likely to have good outcomes. Non-complaint and sick patients will be excluded. This is common practice in Canada.

Governments cover catastrophic costs - that’s what a decent society should do to keep people from bankrupting themselves due to unforeseen expenses.

By the same token, the government should not be telling people how to take care of their health and to pay for every day medical expenses. If people can afford to pay for it, they should.

We need to separate the urgent from the non-essential and not have government do everything. That doesn’t work at all.

Most people do. The OP touches on it. Health insurance is not all that trustworthy. I’m 61. My children are gone and I have my wife in her dream home. If I need surgery so major that I can’t even afford the “uninsured” price, I die.

Life is a mist, and according to the apostle Paul, to die is gain.

I see this life as a sort of semi-real and VERY temporary video game. Real life is my hope in this sin infested rat hole.

Liberals cannot be introspective as that would shatter their delicately constructed self-righteous façade. <<<

BINGO!!!......The liberal mindset is about “feeling”....when logic and common sense enters their argument..they have to block it out...they know subconsciously that if they lose just one small argument to that..ALL their positions crumble.....and there's no way their self-righteous egos could handle that

All by design, Comrade! The end goal is single-payer government-run healthcare. 0bama SAID as much! He thinks it’ll take about 10 years. I think on THIS item he’s way ahead of schedule - thanks to our COMPLICIT GOPe!

Grrrrrrr!

Guess this is why Hillary’s plan would have given the Government the power to tell doctors WHERE they would live and practice.

As a college professor, I am not inclined to look for blatant discrimination and prejudice against Whites....

But when you see what happened to the GM Bondholders, to our Veterans and the VA hospitals, to middle class taxpayers who lost that college-savings account, and to various people systematically getting shafted by Obamacare (not to mention the illegal immigrant open borders “invit,” by the WH), I start to wonder:

What is the percentage?

In other words do Obama and VJ have a ‘cut score’ - a percentage of White U.S. citizens they’re looking to hit by changing these many various programs, as a form of “pay back”?

I know this sounds paranoid, but - you have to start wondering. Is there a pattern, here?

What minimum percentage of “typical” Whites need to be adversely impacted, for it to “qualify” for an active WH policy move?

Never mind that millions (of Caucasians) died in various wars including the Civil War, to liberate people, or that over 20 Trillion in tax dollars have been poured into Great Society programs to assisted those from historically disadvantaged backgrounds who experienced horrible rights violations.

They (the WH academics) don’t care about any of those existing paybacks, the lives lost, or generous public sector compensations. They’re insane Marxists. They don’t even care that many Whites help liberate Slaves at great cost, or that some minorities owned slaves, and were complicit in the slave trade. They are collectivists, not individualists - don’t care about individual actions or choices.

There must be some “percentage” number, they look for. That % means it’s a “Go” for that policy’s fundamental transformation.

What is it — 50% of those to be harmed are from white European backgrounds? 65%? 90%?

I am sure most of the retired people who owned GM stocks were pro’ly Caucasian, I dunno.

“What is the percentage?” That will be my new Tag line.....

More simply:

Success is punished.

Failure is rewarded.

Since LBJ consigned blacks to failure in the Welfare State, 0bama’s actions are racist in result.
