Obama’s Crusades - How did that line end up in his speech?

"....Something I have asked myself: Does he really believe what he says, or is it all just for political effect, to send conservatives into a tizzy, eat up the airwaves, and keep us off-balance? He must have known how ridiculous, how unintelligent, and how offensive his comments were going to sound, correct? There’s a pause after he delivers the Crusades remark, you can see it below, and I just wonder, did he know that this was a stupid thing to say?

I hope so, I really do. Maybe he was just caught up in the moment, already committed to the lines — that’s politics — but there’s a pause just slightly longer than usual in his delivery. Maybe he was simply waiting for the profundity of his remarks to sink in, but I want to think that in his head, he was saying, “Gosh, this is really dumb.” But, never having been called on the carpet since, oh, probably Columbia, he is so used to saying whatever comes into his head without any criticism or knock-down, that he just did it.

But that can’t be true, and this is the thing that really depresses me. Even if you haven’t worked in government, the one thing that everyone in Washington, D.C., knows is that no president speaks alone. Every word, every line of every speech goes through multiple, sometimes dozens of hands. From the junior speechwriter, to the head speechwriter, to the assistant to the chief of staff, to the chief of staff, maybe to someone on the National Security Council or the State Department (since this speech talked about foreign issues), there are eyes and eyes and eyes reading the drafts......"

A defender of Obama's appearance at the National Prayer Breakfast.

E.J. Dionne Jr, Washington Post - Feb 8, 2015: Obama’s Christian humility - "..........But I guess a president isn’t allowed to have complicated views about religion. Within hours of Obama’s speech, I heard him attacked by a few secularists who thought he soft-pedaled the theological roots of violence. But most of the assaults came from conservatives. One right-wing Web site concluded: “Obama basically equates ISIS with Christianity.” Former Virginia governor Jim Gilmore called Obama’s comments “the most offensive I’ve ever heard a president make in my lifetime.”

Good grief. Do Obama’s critics think that Christians reduce their credibility by acknowledging their imperfections? Is it disrespectful of Christ to admit that Christians regularly fall short of His teachings? That would make St. Augustine a heretic............."

Obamas speech was the most offensive and, frankly, scary he has given since he came on the national stage in 2007. Because he knows his time is short, I expect many speeches to be given that will be progressively worse.

This is why, even after the 2014 election, I think my tag line is more likely to come true than ever. Look at how it has ramped up in each of the last six years. It is exponential, as will be the next two years.

You have that right. I’m no big fan of RINO Jennifer Rubin of the Wash ComPost, but even she says this administration is populated by “third and fourth rate” people.

I saw that and I thought the pause was the libtards' cue to break out in applause. Somebody must have forgotten to flip the switch that lights the applause sign up and the libtards were so confused they just froze and didn't do anything, hence the pregnant pause.

Why did he say it?

E Z

It’s the way Muzzies think. and he’s incapable of understanding why we DON”T think this way.

He was born and raised and schooled by muzzies - it’s hardwired into every fiber of his being.

The sad thing is that most of America is surprised by his thought processes.

Face it, Obama is a Muslim and secretly applauds ISIL, Hamas and Hezbollah. He like the Democrats loves to pal around with dictators and terrorists and to aid them when they can.

IS OBAMA'S DELUSIONAL DEFENSE OF ISLAM A PRODUCT OF HIS ISLAMOPHILIA, OR OF CHRISTIANOPHOBIA?

ISLAM: THE AWFUL TRUTH

By Justin O. Smith

American Thinker October 4, 2014

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3211166/posts

Islam is violent and repressive, and its sacred texts are the heart of darkness at the center of the Islamic State's inspiration and motivation, despite Barack Obama's assertions in September 10th's address to the nation that the Islamic State "is not Islamic" and that "no religion condones the killing of innocents." Violence is an integral part of Islamic doctrine, following the example set by its Prophet Mohammed, and in the name of Islam and Allah, Muslims have been murdering innocents, since 656 AD.

Six hundred years after Mohammed, one of Islam's most respected scholars, Ibn Khuldan wrote 'Muqaddimah' (Introduction to History), which explained: "In the Muslim community, the holy war is religious duty, because of the universalism of the Muslim mission and [the obligation to] convert everybody to Islam either by persuasion or force."

Like most good Muslims, Khaldun's inspiration came from 'The Verse of the Sword', Sura 9:5, "revealed" towards the end of Mohammed's life, as well as similar themes previous to Sura 9:

Sura 9:5__ “...kill the Mushrikun (unbelievers) wherever you find them ... But if they repent and perform As-Salat/ Iqamat-as-Salat [the Islamic ritual prayers], then leave their way free..." Also Sura 9:33__ "It is He [Allah] Who has sent His Messenger [Mohammed] with guidance and the religion of truth [Islam], to make it superior over all religions..."

Radical Islamist: 'Acceptable' to Burn Jordanian Pilot Alive?Radical Islamic activist Anjem Choudary proclaimed on Thursday that the barbaric execution of a Jordanian pilot could be "acceptable behavior" under the rules of jihad.

Long before the Crusades, starting with Mohammed to the present times, the Muslims have been committing unbelievable atrocities in the name of Allah and Islam. Jesus preached love, even for our enemies; Muhammad, with his scimitar in hand, ordered to behead or to burn alive the infidels that did not convert to Islam.

“But doesn’t Islam prohibit burning people alive? To answer this question, we need to first look at Muhammad, who spoke for Allah (4:80) and is considered the standard of perfect conduct for Muslims (33:21). Muhammad had no qualms about burning people.

In December 627 Muhammad led an attack against the Al-Mustalaq tribe. Because that tribe fought back, Muhammad ordered their fortifications to be set on fire, even though the Muslims knew there were women and children inside.

Around June 628, when Kinanah bin al-Rabi of the Jewish Bani al-Nadir tribe would not reveal where his conquered tribe’s treasures were hidden, Muhammad ordered one of his soldiers, “Torture him until you extract what he has,” so a fire was built on Kinanah’s chest until Kinanah nearly died.

In June 632, after Muhammad’s death, an attack on Ubna that he had earlier ordered took place. The leader of the Muslim force said,

the Messenger of God commanded me and this was his last command to me: …to raid them, without inviting them [to Islam], and to destroy and burn.

The Life of Muhammad: Al-Waqidi’s Kitab al-Maghazi, p. 549

And Muhammad even considered burning down Muslims’ houses around them to compel their attendance at congregational prayers:

There should be a sign in polling booths: No Birth Certificate, No grades, No established history....No run.

That's what Obama was doing when he visited Hawaii in October, 2008, allegedly to visit his ailing grandmother. He was actually there a) to fix his draft record and b) to keep Hawaii' secretary of state from removing Obama's name from the ballot over the COLB and passport issues. They weren't sure he was eligible (he wasn't, IMNSHO), so the point of the meeting was to give him one last chance to argue his case.

Instead, Obama brought a letter (illegal) from Nancy Pelosi as Chairwoman of the Democratic Party certifying Obama -- it was illegal because certification was the State's job, and here were Obama and Pelosi trying to jam the State of Hawaii. I don't know what or whom he threatened, but he got back on the ballot.
