there was a congressman from Indiana who said virtually the same thing a few years ago and the press vilified him.

What they should be careful to say, which is what they mean, is that childbirth is beautiful regardless of the means of conception....childbirth is a miracle which we all get to witness...the men who are rapists are evil creatures who must be dealt with accordingly....but to kill the child because the father was a badass is an even more heinous crime.
