I would feel sad for them if they hadn’t been FRONT AND CENTER supporting the political parties that FLOODED their country with Muslims.
I suspect they figured that Muslims would be a good “counterbalance” to the Church. Oh well...I guess they SCREWED UP yet again.
In fairness the Jews in Britain are not as firmly wedded to the Labour Party as the Jews of America are to the Democrats.
Since the time of Thatcher, who represented the heavily Jewish constituency of Finchley in North London, the Jews, well those in the business community (we’ll leave aside the entertainment industry and academia) have backed the Conservatives. Maggie had many Jews in her cabinet including Keith Joseph (who taught her monetary economics) and Nigel Lawson and Leon Britton among many others.
I can well imagine that a self-employed businessman in a city like Manchester as Mr Gould is would be a die-hard Conservative voter and especially so since the Labour Party in most northern British cities these days target the Muslim vote.
Even in the entertainment industry things are changing, the article mentions an interview by popular British actress Maureen Lipmann who herself has recently said she might quit the UK and who had no qualms about blaming the Labour Party for many of the difficulties British Jews face.
