Completely agree!
When ever family or friend visits in SoCal, I make it a point to bring them to the Reagan Museum.
Easy to lump and tear up remembering him in that setting.
You’ll witness videos of how he took on establishment GOP who tried to silence him.
Chilling video featuring his wisdom about the dangers of tyranical communism, insane liberals, and out of control fiscal irresponsibility, which served as a warning of what we face today.
Very dignified place for a man who brought dignity to our country.
Miss him tremendously...
"Both of which guys?" I asked.
Dad replied "Both of those guys who voted for Mondale!"
Sadly before my time, I hope history records as the great man he was.
Went last month. One of the best museums I’ve ever been to. I took so many pictures...

Every now and then we find that a great leader comes along
One who has greatness that we celebrate in poetry and song
He grew up in the Midwest and he had learned his lessons well
But how far he would go nobody could really tell
His accomplishments were growing but hes not one who would boast
He learned that a mans character is what is valued most
And hes led his life with an honor that we can admire
Ronald Reagan we love you
and you are loved around the world
Thanks to your vision flags of freedom everywhere have been unfurled
We will all raise up our glass, heres a salute from one and all
Long live your legacy The Man Who Brought Down the Wall
Theres a natural right of men
that right is all men shall live free
Because freedom makes each person all the best that he can be
One president knew that much better than anyone else
Ronald Reagan we love you
and you are loved around the world
Thanks to your vision flags of freedom everywhere have been unfurled
We will all raise up our glass, heres a salute from one and all
Long live your legacy The Man Who Brought Down the Wall
Ronald Reagan we love you
and you are loved around the world
Thanks to your vision flags of freedom everywhere have been unfurled
We will all raise up our glass, heres a salute from one and all
Long live your legacy The Man Who Brought Down the Wall
Youre loved by all
Happy Birthday President Reagan!
Last weekend I got to go watch a band that parodies the 80’s (The Spazmatics), and for a while it felt like Reagan was still President. Sigh.
Others with the same birthday: Babe Ruth, Bob Marley, Axl Rose

Doug, great song tribute to a great President, thanks for re-posting!
” Youll witness videos of how he took on establishment GOP who tried to silence him.”
Ole Bob Dole tried to kill Reagan’s tax cuts. Reagan got so furious, Dole hid for the rest of the day.
Reagan: “ The horse is back in the barn, folks! “
Number 8, I never knew who this Helen Gahagan Douglas was.

Where’s Nancy? I wanna be RR’s Eskimo Brother.
I would be a hateful encounter though; I will never forget her betrayal of Oliver North.
The most lopsided presidential election in terms of electoral votes was FDR’s in 1936. The largest popular vote margin by percentage was Johnson in 1964.
Bump
I feel so privileged to have come of age during the time of Mr. Reagan’s presidency. Words cannot express my sorrow at “how far we’ve fallen” since those days. I worry for my children.
Rest in eternal peace, Mr. President. Thank you for you all you accomplished! (and say hello to the Iron Lady for me!)
Happy Birthday, Mrs. Vigilanteman.
