He did say if the winds change he would support Izlam, and the 2nd only thing he has said that was true. The 1st being he would fundamentally transform this country.

“In our home country, slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ.”

It was [conservative] Christians who dismantled Jim Crow Laws and opposed slavery.

The Medevial Inquisitions were nine hundred years ago, the Spanish Inquisitions were six hundred years ago. Then he jumped all the way to the Jim Crow Inquisitions, kind of overlooking the Nazi Inquisitions and of course the current ISLAMIC State Inquisitions.

Yeah,

we pretty much cleaned up our act with the end of the Inquisition...Muslim sympathizers continue to excuse it as “you did it too” but completely refuse to acknowledge that Muslims are still doing it in the present day. They’ve never gotten over their savage ways.

It wasn’t as big of a problem when every few generations the Muslims would be slaughtered in war and pushed into the wastelands to bide their time and recover there huge losses...we’re around 400 years behind curing them of their want for major war.

Simple question for obammy..... “Mr. Obammy, nobody including you can change what happened 1000 years ago. But, you’re the leader of the free world. You can change what happens now. When are you going to do something of merit?”

That which occurred centuries ago does NOT excuse the behavior of a people or a religion

Jim Crow: yesterday. Benghazi: long time ago.

“Unless we get on our high horse and think this is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and the Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ,” Obama said. “In our home country, slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ.”

The Crusades and the Inquisition: So Christians acted somewhat like Muslims 500-1000 yeas ago, at which time Muslims were acting the same as they are now.

Slavery: Something also practiced by Muslims even up until today.

He’s justifying the burning death of that poor pilot.

And, btw, to my knowledge, nobody justified slavery and Jim Crow on the basis of Christianity. I will say that there was a small group of fundamentalist wack-job preachers in the South who preached the “two creations” theory, basing it on Genesis, which has two Creation accounts, to assert that blacks were created to serve whites. But in many parts of the South, the preaching of Christianity to slaves was actually forbidden (with the death penalty in some counties in SC and GA) because the slave owners feared that baptism would mean they had to treat blacks as human beings.

Did he mention that Jesus raped a 9 year old girl?
NO! That was Mo’Ham-ed the False Prophet.

Recall also the entire Negro Spiritual aspect, and the birth of Gospel music. Southern blacks seemed to have a pretty positive view of Christianity, going way back.

I believe that if Christianity were preached as a justification of slavery, they might not have had a positive view of it. But they did. So that tells me the preachers were on the right side, no matter what lies Obama wants to tell.

From a 2004 Ann Coulter article (I feel really old) : "In the entire 350 years of the Spanish Inquisition, about 30,000 people were killed. That's an average of less than 100 a year."

For sure, not a good thing, but Christians universally condemn the Inquisition and ever strive not to repeat these historical events. On the other hand, radical Islam has killed hundred of thousands in recent years, with very little condemnation from moderate Islam and with no indication this behavior will change in the near future.

I use history to show that Christianity is morally superior while Obama uses it to condemn Christianity.

The difference is things have been done erroneously in the name of Christ according to the Word, but what is going on in the name of Mohammed is according to the Koran.

A title to the video (and the source — not YouTube, the creator) might move me to watch it. (But probably not. I’m sufficiently versed in the history if Islam to suspect it won’t be edifying for me.)

I make it a policy never to follow links that consist of a URL, even to a trustworthy site like YouTube, without explanation of the expected content.

“NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition!”

(OK, joke’s over)

Our Tnediserp continues to dive deeper into the Stygian depths of moral depravity. He has all but greenlighted additional ISIS immolations by implying that what they did to that Jordanian pilot was but payment-in-kind.

ISIS concentrations should be napalmed in response. Let’s see if those murderers enjoy being turned into Crispy Critters.

God forbid the POS could just have a nice normal Prayer Breakfast. I’m surprised he hasn’t made it another “day of service”.

The Crusades killed more of their own than they did the other side ,that goes for Muslims also
