Ok, so Brian Williams lied. So another member of the media proved to be dishonest and self-serving. Is that really news? Is that all that surprising? It seems a convenient hypocritical distraction from others that also lack integrity. I'm ready to move on.

These cheap lying bastards slide their sleazy selves into the picture, trying to steal some of the glory that rightfully belongs to the boots that are there.
There are many of them.
Geraldo Rivera comes to mind...Dan Rather and his trip in support of the "mujaheddin", that blond bimbo on CNN, who is so insignificant that I can't remember her name, and many more that I either dealt with personally or knew of from other close acquaintances.
As far as I'm concerned, he's a damned liar, his credibility is shot to hell and his integrity as a journalist is in the crapper.
He should resign and fade away, become content with knowing he will always be just a footnote in the history books.

Sorta the same treatment the left gives Rush, Cain, et al.
It would only be news if we found out that somewhere, sometime he actually told the truth.
Things don’t change without negative feedback...so he gets it.
Not only should the story keep being repeated, they should replay Hillary’s identical lie where she said she was under enemy fire. Rush must have the tape.
Brian Williams should be fired and replaced with someone new. Hands down.

I’ve been out of the loop. What did he lie about now?
I’m sure he has told many lies; finally one caught up with him; but as with any good reporter in the communist news media; his apology will be excepted and he will eventually recover somewhat because in the progressive liberal democrat communist party he is despite everything a comrade, given time for production of sympathy; some how in some way he will be portrayed as the victim.
No.. I’d like to see him shamed out of that job. I quit watching that SOB years ago..
Anyway, I’m a vet - a Viet Nam era vet - I enlisted during the war, but never fought in it. I was a REMF if you know what that means.. it would be a dishonor to me and to the men who fought and died for me to embellish any of my military exploits.
What else has he ‘misremembered’?
