The lines between the elitist political class and the bedrock population have never been more clearly defined as they are today.
If Jeb pulls this off and gets himself elected it will be an indicator that the special interests and lobbyists are completely and without equivocation in control of the entire process.
This could be because Richard M. Nixon refused to challenge the questionable election of JFK even though Maurice Stans raised money for him to do so.
I do not believe he can win because of these remarks and the attitude they betray. If you populated Detroit with unskilled illegal aliens it would only plunge further into bankruptcy. A wave of innovation which the ordinary man wanted to buy made it prosperous. A wave of illiterate illegals could not possibly create a similar effect.
