““I just think it’s not right to send them back to their home countries when many of them have known no other home than America, and they didn’t make the decision to come here, their parents brought them here”

Fine. Here are the options then:

You join the armed forces for 5 years in a branch not of your choosing.

Or you give up the right to vote in any election for life.

Those under 18 will have that choice when they reach that age.

Those above 35 lose voting rights for life. No welfare PERIOD.

Perhaps we try a radical solution.

Have them conform to the rules and follow the process that all American immigrants seeking citizenship must through.

They have to find and hold a job and take full financial responsibility for themselves and their family. If they can't hold a job and be a productive member of society they should be deported.

No welfare.

Meet minimum eduction standards.

Take citizenship lessons.

Demonstrate literacy and ability to speak the English language.

Follow the rules all immigrants have to follow. If they are convicted of any criminal offense they should be deported.

No voting until they have completed the full process which should take around 15 years, at which point they will be assimilated and will have learned our system and have a vested interest in the success of the United States.

Take a standard citizenship oath at the end of the process.

The process has worked for tens of millions of legal immigrants from all over the world and has made this country what it is today.

All other illegal immigrants are de facto felons who entered the country with criminal intent. They should forever forfeit their voting rights same way other felons have in the past.

I just think it's not right to send them back to their home countries when many of them have known no other home than America

Oxymoronic statement. She says they have no home countries right after saying they do.

It was their illegal alien parents choice to bring them to the U.S.

Do illegal aliens decide who our future citizenry will be?

If they have home countries as she said - then they and their parents can head home since they already robbed the taxpayers for schooling they got, food assistance they got, medical care they got...the list is endless.

You don't let the squatters whole family stay just because they're inside the house when discovered.
