Posted on 02/01/2015 9:41:50 AM PST by C19fan

Mitt Romney’s decision to forgo a third try at the White House has settled the question of whether the 2016 GOP presidential field has a front-runner — bestowing a coveted status on former Florida governor Jeb Bush that also raises new challenges and perils.

Republicans have a tradition of picking an anointed one early. That establishment candidate almost always ends up with the nomination, although not without a fight and some speed bumps along the way.

I hold George W. Bush equally responsible for the death of Terri Schivo. I believe it was these two men, by their amoral decisions not to lift a finger to save that innocent from being murdered, and in such a horrible way, is the reason that there has been such a flood of evil that has come upon this country with her death, beginning with a dreadful hurricane in Florida, and then the subsequent election of democrat majorities in both houses of congress, and finally the election of the incredibly destructive Barak Obama. I think God judged this nation because of the irresponsibility of those two men, and by their lack of responsibility, courage, and moral character, those two people single-handedly destroyed this country. God forbid that a Bush should ever sit in the seats of power again. And it is my prayer hope and prayer that God will show us the mercy and compassion that our elected govt, all of them, from the president on down to the local judge, denied Teri and her family. But if we should nominate and elect Jeb Bush, I think we confirm to the Lord is that this nation deserves to die, and in a horrible way, just as Terri Schivo died. This is no small thing, electing this man spells our doom. It says to God, that we the poeple, agree that the lives of the innocents do not matter! And so our lives will not matter to God anymore.

El Jefe Jeb is the front-runner because of name recognition.

Not because he brings anything to the table for 2016.

It’s time for Jeb to feel an intense desire to spend more time with his family and let a little oxygen into the process.

Bush is the official designee to keep the Presidency in formally Democrat hands so that the Democrats can choose the leftest candidate they can find and don’t have to worry about electability or scandal or anything else at all. Jeb Bush as the front runner gives the Democrats the opportunity to put up a real fire breathing Russian Communist or a Pakistani Al Qaeda leader if they so desire and know that the thing is in the bag.

Is Bush the best the Republicans can offer?
I’m sick of liberals calling themselves Republicans.

Not giving up. But, I am a student of the past. And the past tells me that we have not had a decent candidate since Ronaldus.

Jeb Bush, in order to receive any support from me and my vote, is going to have to come to my abode, sans guys in suits and sunglasses and any support personnel, and personally change my colostomy appliance!
