CLEARWATER, Fla.—Sitting recently on his brick back patio here, Michael Schiavo called Jeb Bush a vindictive, untrustworthy coward.
For years, the self-described “average Joe” felt harassed, targeted and tormented by the most important person in the state.
“It was a living hell,” he said, “and I blame him.”
Michael Schiavo was the husband of Terri Schiavo, the brain-dead woman from the Tampa Bay area who ended up at the center of one of the most contentious, drawn-out conflicts in the history of America’s culture wars. The fight over her death lasted almost a decade. It started as a private legal back-and-forth between her husband and her parents. Before it ended, it moved from circuit courts to district courts to state courts to federal courts, to the U.S. Supreme Court, from the state legislature in Tallahassee to Congress in Washington. The president got involved. So did the pope.
But it never would have become what it became if not for the dogged intervention of the governor of Florida at the time ...

This guy knew how to work the system because of his previous medical related jail job. He manipulated his in-laws into signing away what rights they had in the guise of “convenience”, then betrayed that trust all in the hopes of disguising that he set out to murder his wife and marry his girlfriend in a legally “acceptable” fashion while playing the grieving husband. No fan of Jeb, but Schiavo is lower than the devil’s septic tank.
Know there was an unconfirmed rumor on Florida radio that their local PD (which Schiavo had buddies in) would fight if they sent in the Guard.
Please explain (rationally) what Jeb Bush did that upset you so much.

Mikey Schiavo should thank Jeb Bush. He has a foretaste of his eternity, unless he changes! From what Jesus said about Lazarus, what Terri suffered for weeks before she died, Mikey will have an eternity to experience: dire thirst in a hot environment. Ain't no Evian where you're headed, Mikey!

The incident that stands out most in my mind is when Terry was being starved and dehydrated, a young boy approached the place where she was dying, with a glass of water in hand, and was arrested for disturbing the peace.
This was all done by LEA, complicit with the Governor’s (Jeb Bush) orders.

Did you read the whole article? Having read it it seems Politico is blaming Jeb because he went out of his way to intervene and stop the removal of the feeding tube.

The husband was the one who wanted to starve Mrs. Schiavo to death..and did, even over the objections of the immediate family who wanted to take care of her.
Mr. Bush looks mostly like a good guy in this case.
