Front National’s Le Pen Consolidates Lead in First Presidential Poll Since Charlie Hebdo
Breitbart London ^ | January 30, 2015 | Oliver Lane

A new poll commissioned by French magazine Marianne reveals that if presidential elections happened today, Le Pen would gather the most votes and France’s unpopular incumbent President Hollande would be knocked out in the first round.

It’s the first opinion poll on voting intentions this year, and the solid advantage enjoyed by Le Pen and her traditional-conservative Front National (FN) party appears to have been confirmed in the wake of the Charlie Hebdo shootings in Paris earlier this month. Front National is the only mainstream French political movement that shows willing to tackle the problem of rising Islamism, and this appears to have delivered them an definite electoral advantage. Le Pen now sits with 30 percent of first-round votes, a gain of 3-5 points since August.

Despite the strong showing, it still yet may not mean Le Pen could be president. The French run-off system, known as ‘loser wins’, often means the candidate whom places second in the first round actually carries the second with preference votes, suggesting former president Nicholas Sarkozy could return to the palace....

Ah, good old enlightened Europe. They have to choose between Nazis and Commies once again. It might be tricky for voters to pick which type of socialists to root for.

Non. She’s as far left as Hollande in reality. She wants to get friendlier with Iran at the USA’s expense.

She’s not her father. Is she perfect, no. But she’s a heck of a lot better than the status quo in France.

Obama is beating her to the punch.

At best, she’s the same. Her politics are quite bad.

And France’s current and prior leaders since the 20’s haven’t been socialists? Did you know that when the Gestapo moved into France after Hitler’s victory they found that instead of having to bring things “up” to German standards, the Sûreté were already MUCH MORE intrusive than the Sicherheitsdienst des Reichsführers-SS (SD) could have gotten away with?

Well she does it more out of a hatred of Saudi Arabia, a hatred that I share. About time somebody stops kissing the Saudi’s ass.

Yes, Vive la Pen.

She is a godawful statist, as left-wing as the others - but with the critical difference that she will act against the Muslims.
