And you can see people will nit-pick walker over amnesty and ignore the fact that he wants to secure the border FIRST. If we get that then we can talk about amnesty and what “back of the line” means.
I have to give Walker the edge because he’s been a highly successful Governor who’s cleaned house in his state. That translates well on the national stage.
I don’t really have a problem with true “back of the line” amnesty. If they actually have to self deport and apply for residency from their home countries the vast majority will never return legally. If the border is secured it will make it more difficult for them to return illegal.
I see true “back of the line” amnesty as a bone to throw to those who are a bit soft on illegals and also a trap to get a good number of illegals to leave and never return.

Its all is about the 11 million [undocumented immigrants], Walker said. You hear some people talk about border security and a wall and all that. To me, I dont know that you need any of that if you had a better, saner way to let people into the country in the first place.
