The furniture is from another generation and looks like high quality, as do the wall units.
I suspect some class envy might be involved.

Nah, all their homes are decorated just like that. Like I said above, they're culturally stuck in the 1890s. I'll lay a dollar to a donut that almost every stick of furniture in that home is from RC Willey Home Furnishings. Believe me.
Go see what the Utah-based furniture store 'RC Willey' sells. Their slogan is "No matter what your style, we have a look for you!" --- Er, as long as your style is LDS that is.
If class envy is a factor, the fact that she bought the dress when visiting Paris would only add to the level of envy. It’s possible. And pathetic.
