MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - "American Sniper" is tops at the box office but don't expect to see former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura lining up at a theater for it.
Ventura, a former Navy SEAL, won $1.8 million in a defamation lawsuit last year against the estate of the late Chris Kyle, the SEAL protagonist of the movie, which has sparked debate over whether snipers should be considered heroes. Ventura said Wednesday he won't see the film partly because Kyle is no hero to him.

I got blasted several times on Free Republic for comments I made about this guy back when he was Governor. Even though at one time he did seem to ‘talk’ somewhat conservative, to me he always had a screw loose.

The fact that Kyle beat Ventura’s ass is a FACT.
The only thing in question is exactly what Ventura said that provoked getting his ass kicked.
Frankly it sounds EXACTLY like something a commie bootlicker like Ventura would say!

He is no different than all the others who criticize the movie. It is just a way for them to get their names out in the public again and to sound relevant. It is completely self serving but what do you expect from these losers.
It was the same for 43 in his first term and his second for that matter. That is when I started to form my no watch list.
