Dear Skeptics, Here's How Apple Will Continue To Demolish Expectations

Apple delivered the greatest earnings report in history on Tuesday.

That's not hyperbole. Apple earned $18 billion in net income over the three-month period of October to December 2014. That's more than any other company has ever earned over a three-month span.

Apple earned those mind-melting profits thanks mostly to the iPhone, which is an incredible business.

Apple sold 74.5 million iPhones, up 46% from the year prior. The iPhone generated $51 billion in revenue, giving each iPhone an average selling price of $687.

Apple is as much of an American company as any other multi-national.

To get all giddy because Apple makes their stuff in China, and sells most of it there it seems, is just absurd.

Unless they started manufacturing iPhones in Akron, then you will have to excuse me if I could not care less.

God knows why you think FR needs to become some forum for a bunch of Apple stories.

It takes a special kind of fanboy retard. I wouldn't even think about Apple if not for the especially egregious Emos that have to excrete it nonstop. Was there anything more boring than the Intel AMD forum wars of the late 90s?

Apple’s ideas died with Jobs. But they’re expanding into new markets and should experience a great cash flow for some time. But the company is now where Microsoft was when it seemed invincible.

“Please skip Apple threads. Apple trolls are becoming obnoxious.”

I know. I guess you guys need a “safe space”, right?

The biggest success story of an American company, and done consistently, year over year ... and you think that’s worth “nothing” in “tooting America’s horn” for free enterprise that has invaded the rest of the world?!

Just let these threads go by.

Oh, I do. I almost never comment on them, and I wouldn't have commented on this one but the OP is correct, the frequency and passion of this stuff is a little disturbing. If it were GM or Westinghouse or BP I'd be wondering if perhaps the corporation weren't taking advantage of FR for advertisement.

It’s the stock market, honey.

Microsoft never seemed invincible. Neither does Apple.

They didn’t die according to Jobs’ hand-picked CEO. Cook says they’re continuing with Steve Jobs’ ideas and ideology.

“They’re the ONE COMPANY that blows the rest of them away in our free enterprise system ... :-) ...”

Are you kidding?

They manufacture their stuff in Communist China, like the rest of them.

And you sit there with a shit-eating grin like you really won something here in America.

“You” may want to disown them as an American company, but I’m “owning” them as one of the best American companies around.

“Why?”

They are simply exercising their right to repeatedly post the exact same information (albeit different articles) w/o an admin snuffing out the nonsense.

These cultists remind me of the days when I was an Atari fanboy back during their heyday. I had somewhat of an excuse in that I was 8 years old back then.

I’d hate to see what some of these “FRiends” would have done to a Playgirl magazine featuring Steve Jobs. Before I get attacked, I’m not talking about Apple users in general ... I’m talking about the lunatic fringe we all know and love.

I’m still trying to figure out how the use of a 64 bit processor reduces dependence on memory ... one of the other geniuses posted that last night.

Having said that, it’s been a fantastic time to be an Apple shareholder :-)!!!!

Anti-Apple people are sure sanctimonious.

I know!

They constantly keep posting articles bashing Apple and extolling all of the reasons you should be using Android, Windows, and Linux if you want to be a good person. and then they keep talking about how much money Google makes every 2 days!

Oh wait...
