I think they are sending an unsubtle message to the SCOTUS that if just 8 more states join them, they could theoretically call a constitutional convention over the issue. While they likely wouldn’t do so, it sends the SCOTUS a strong signal that they must prevent this nonsense, and rein-in Obama in a firm manner.

Since 1810, with the Marbury v. Madison decision, the POTUS has been free from carrying out a law he doesn’t want to. However, the flip side of this is the authority of the court to stop the POTUS from doing what he wants to do on his own.

That is, they can’t make him follow the law. But they can force him to not break the law.

It seems to me that if there are 26 states opposed to Obama’s illegal unconstitutional amnesty program it shouldn’t be to hard to get some more states on board for a Convention of the States to amend the Constitution and try to put an end to US Government interference, growth and tyranny over the people of the United States of America.

need 12 more.

38 states can do anything in this country.

throw President out, dissolve congress, even eliminate supreme court.

the ultimate power in this country rests with the states, but need enough of them to send DC into oblivion

In a sane world, in a nation still in touch with its origins, 26 states having instigated litigation would cause the USSC some considerable pause.

The operative words being 'sane' and 'origins'.

The judiciary has become as much an enemy of our Constitution as the odious enemedia and their execrable halfbreed lawn jockey.
