RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (AP) — For first lady Michelle Obama, just a few hours in Saudi Arabia were enough to illustrate the stark limitations under which Saudi women live.
Joining President Barack Obama for a condolence visit after the death of the King Abdullah, Mrs. Obama stepped off of Air Force One wearing long pants and a long, brightly colored jacket — but no headscarf.

Compare Michelle’s ‘defiant’ bold outfit with what Obama is wearing. He’s in a suit, white shirt and a tie. When was the last time we saw the president all dressed up? State of the Union Address? When before that?
I read that the Saudi King literally hated Obama, so maybe with that getting out, she thought this was the way to diss them all. I don’t think it was an act of defiance towards Islamic custom as shown by that hideous headscarf she wore in Post #44 by Vox_Freedom.
That’s quite the transformation. I’m sure she appreciates all the taxpayers have done for her.
I was being generous with the first photo....to be “fair”. But the transformation with “plastic” and “surgical shaving” and “implants” is really quite extensive.
I wondered, when she extended her vacation to say with Oprah, if more wasn’t done then as well.
Like Obama, Michele has shown these past four years she’s going to do her own thing regardless...

I don’t get why she wore something so brightly colored. Everyone else was in somber colors. Also, when she went to Pakistan (I think it was) she wore a headscarf there, so why not in Saudi? I know they have protocol people that brief them. I guess the Obamas think they know better, kind of like he blew off his security briefings.
Did she wear a funny costume to Mandela's funeral?
I think that’s what was behind the 3 weeks or however long it was that she stayed in Hawaii over Christmas vacation 2013. I think she stayed to get work done & zero flew back to DC.
I’m guessing that she was pissed about the cancelled visit to the Taj Mahal and her inappropriate clothing and the refusal to wear a headscarf was her way of sending a big F.U. to Obama.
