News, commentary and analysis by leaders of the Communist Party USA in New York State. We discuss State politics and issues in New York City, covering developments in labor, civil rights education, housing and more.

http://newyorkcp.blogspot.com/2010/04/bronx-community-takes-on-real-estate.html

RWDSU president and KARA co-convener Stuart Appelbaum summed it up, “It’s time for developers to live up to their responsibilities to the community. New York needs a development strategy that puts people first, and that begins with the developers guaranteeing the rights of workers to a living wage.”

Those red shirts will stand out nicely in the unemployment line. Can we open an office in Crip territory to make it more interesting?

It’s odd so many come out of the woodwork to slam some tiny wage car wash employees who join a union, when there are now more unionized government employees than in entire private sector America.

Yes way more.

In fact you and everyone else are paying the incomes of all the corrupt govs unionized employees which make them many millions of times more expensive for the tax payers $

No comparison....

BTW, no one is making you go to that car wash...

Unlike the taxes you pay for the millions of corrupt gov unionized employees...

Apparently the communists in NYC are reduced to organizing illegal aliens at carwashes now.

Anything for those union dues, maybe Applebaum can go to India and organize the rat killers and the Dalits.

Wow, can’t fix stupid. Even in New York most folks won’t pay union scale to get their car washed.

You certainly get wound up over nothing. I wash my own damn car or use a fully mechanized car wash. Unions raise costs and lower productivity. I'll never be in the same state with that car wash. As for unionized government employees...I don't vote for Democrats. They are the ones that are hot for government unions.
