Limbaugh: Scott Walker ‘The Blueprint’ For GOP If They Are ‘Serious About Beating The Left’ [AUDIO]
Daily Caller ^ | 01/27/2015

Two days have passed and the praise for Scott Walker’s Saturday speech in Iowa continue to pour in.

On his Monday program, conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh continued his praise of the Wisconsin governor, saying Walker is “the blueprint” for the Republican Party if they are “serious about beating the left.”

Limbaugh, a longtime admirer of Walker, also lashed out at the media for pushing the narrative that the potential 2016 candidate is “dull” and “colorless,” while adding that the GOP needs to “hoist” Walker on a chair “they used to take Caesar through the crowds with.”

“If you have spent any time listening to this program in the last two years, you know that I believe Scott Walker is the blueprint for the Republican Party if they are serious about beating the left Scott Walker has shown how to do it,” Limbaugh said.

That's a pretty carefully worded statement. the amnesty haters can interpret that to mean he's an amnesty lover, while the amnesty lovers can interpret that as a roadblock.

Walker lives in a blue state, he takes on what he can and succeeds. I'm pissed he took a pass at a casino in Kenosha......but he may still be playing both sides. I'd also like him to take on right to work, but he's said he has other priorities. I think if right to work passes, he'll sign the bill. Lot's of work for him here in Wisconsin to still accomplish.

Jesus Christ will not appear on the ballot

If Ronald Reagan ran for president today many on FR would oppose him because of his tax hikes while governor.

As long as a presidential candidate understands and completely supports the first step; i.e., securing the border, we can work the next steps out in Congress. Most Presidents are open to hearing the will of the people (the present one excepted).

There are no perfect candidates.

If you think Scott Walker is a viable candidate, then now is the time to impress on him the importance of securing the borders.

I’ll give Walker this, he can win in a blue state, he takes things that he believes in to the mat and he has successful executive experience.

And many here would not support Him if He did. You know, underage for Article I (31 when crucified); born to a single mother not American; and never a governor.

I like the guy, but he doesn’t have a college degree. The NY based media is going to tear him down for that.

Hate to disagree but the blueprint for Republican victory in 2016 is Ted Cruz.

>> "Scott Walker is for illegal immigration isn’t he?" <<

>> No. And saying it 10000000000 times doesn't make it any more true. <<

Heh. I have no respect for conservatives who feel the need to flat out lie about a candidate they dislike. It's like the "Chris Christie is pro-abortion" crowd who would repeat it over and over again, no matter how solid he ended up being on that issue while in office. And if their guy Mark Levin was telling his listeners the "pro-abortion" stuff, then he was flat out lying, too.

I thought Newt Gingrich and Rick Perry were terrible choices for President, but I didn't make up stuff like "Newt's a gun grabber" and "Perry's pro-Palestinian" on the internet to convince people not to vote for them.

Correct. Still, the difference between Jeb and Walker is that I'd actually pull the lever for the latter in the general election if I had to. I'd crawl across broken glass to vote for Cruz. Why settle for second best this early in when there's already a best in Ted Cruz?

Walker’s a good guy in a difficult state but I see him moving more left to take the Presidency instead of moving more right.

He’s moving more left for Wisconsinites right now, who aren’t going to vote for him for POTUS anyway, having voted for zero twice.

I don’t want a guy whose instinct is to zig-zag to eventual victory. I want a guy who is itching to take down the left wherever they hold power on the way to the Presidency, and that guy is Ted Cruz.

If the American public were smart, we would be swearing in President Walker in January 2017

Please don't insult Conservatives.

Walker has repeated stated positions that clearly show he is completely in line with letting ALL illegals(criminals) who are here now stay.

Walker never talks of seriously of securing the border.

Walker is a good choice is you truly have no desire to restore our Constitutional Republic.
