A little corny in places but still a good flic.
I’ve got it in my collection and watch it about once a year on slow weekends.

Ever notice that the plot to OBJECTIVE BURMA is almost a carbon copy of NORTHWEST PASSAGE with SPENCER TRACY?
I noticed it while watching both not long ago on TCM, the ONLY TV station worth watching anymore.
Military units go behind enemy lines to destroy an enemy village or radar, must then walk out being constantly attacked by the enemy, split their forces, half get wiped out and the other half finally makes it to friendly lines.
Both still worth watching over and over again!
