Governor Christie moved one step closer to running for president Friday, launching a political action committee with his supporters.

The new political action committee, Leadership Matters for America, will give Christie the ability to raise money and assemble a staff for a potential run for president.

Christie’s establishment of the committee came just as he was flying to Iowa to woo conservative voters in the first-in-the-nation presidential caucus state.

The Wall Street Journal first reported early this morning that Christie’s team filed paperwork to establish the committee with the Federal Election Commission on Friday. The documents have not yet been posted online.

I wonder if part of the problem with zero-chance candidates is that such candidates are allowed to pay themselves and their family members salaries from campaign contributions. This encourages them to get in and stay in long after they have no chance.

Cruz, Walker or Palin period.

Voted since day one.

Won’t vote if it is any one else but the 3 mentioned above.

I watched the whole show; there were some very good speeches, some just ok; but when you contrast Christie with all the others; one clear message comes through; Christie Creme is a hard core Rino; tough on the outside, mushy runny watered down sour cream on the inside.

Anyone. How many of the potential candidates have started PACs toward the nomination effort?
I have read articles that some are saying it may take $50 million to get thru the first few
contest. I’ve searched by haven’t been able to find a definitive answer.

Canada and the US boarders will be a explain. I know we don’t want someone who closes bridges. They’ll be a worry here if he gets in.

If his 2016 primary opponents do not liberally use the photo of him hugging Obama just days before the 2012 election, I will be disappointed.

I’m happy to hear this, and I hope The Next Bush, Rubio, and Romney will jump in immediately too. We need these liberal RINOs to split the democrat crossover vote so that we can finally nominate a conservative.
